Our Learning Goals and Standards

· At the Hebrew School of the Arts we engage your child's sense of Jewish identity by capturing his/her imagination and attention. So, we put a lot of effort into providing our students with substantive lessons and a positive atmosphere.

· The lessons are multi-sensory and hands-on, ensuring that the students truly experience what they are being taught. The lessons are structured to create a lively, interactive classroom experience. The information truly becomes the student's own.

OUR CURRICULUM

HEBREW

Our students learn to read and write Hebrew. They gain confidence and familiarity with the Siddur-Hebrew Prayer Book. At Hebrew School of the Arts we use the world-renowned, critically acclaimed Aleph Champ program to ensure that your child will read Hebrew by the end of his/her Hebrew School experience.  

The Hebrew Language program is designed so that at the conclusion of Hebrew School of the Arts each student is confident in reading and writing Hebrew. 

JEWISH VALUES

Judaism provides values that give individuals the tools to maximize their experience of life. Hebrew School of the Arts students will explore Jewish values that will guide them throughout their journey into adulthood.

TRADITIONS, HOLIDAYS, AND SHABBAT

While experiencing our Jewish traditions, Holidays, and Shabbat, students gain a deeper understanding and love of our unique heritage.

TORAH

Students study inspirational messages from the Torah which provides practical lessons that apply to our daily lives.
